“Every true artist is an alchemist, transforming and combining elements into something new. We mold and shape, start and start again, seldom stopping at just one idea. In that spirit, I am a consummate experimenter. For me, my mixed media pieces are about pushing the boundaries and stretching and challenging myself out of my comfort zone. As I explore new materials, the through line of my work – texture – presents itself in my mixed media pieces.”
